Oven Baked French Fries with Sriracha Dipping Sauce

Ingredients

Oven-Baked Potato Fries

  • 5 Wisconsin russet potatoes medium-sized
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • 1/4 tsp Chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp Onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp Paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Spicy Sriracha Dipping Sauce

  • 3/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 clove garlic finely grated
  • salt & pepper to taste
  • 2 Tbsp fresh lime juice
  • 1 Tbsp fresh Cilantro chopped
  • 3 Tbsp Sriracha

Instructions

Oven-Baked Potato Fries

  • Preheat oven to 450°.
  • Wash and dry your potatoes well. Then slice them into "sticks" and toss into a gallon Ziploc bag.
  • Add the olive oil, chili powder, onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, salt and pepper to the bag with the potatoes.
  • Seal the bag closed and give everything a vigorous shake to coat the potatoes thoroughly with the oil and spices.
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Spread the potatoes evenly on the pan, being careful not to overlap potatoes which will cause the fries to be less crunchy.
  • Place the pan of potatoes into the oven and bake for about 45 minutes. Serve with the Sriracha Dipping Sauce.

Spicy Sriracha Dipping Sauce

  • In a small bowl, mix all the ingredients together.
  • Garnish with cilantro leaves.
