Grilled Brat and Hash Brown Pizza

Ingredients

  • 1 pre-made pizza dough
  • 1/2 cup barbeque sauce
  • 8 oz ball of whole milk mozzarella sliced
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded hash brown potatoes panfried extra crispy
  • 2 bratwursts grilled and sliced
  • 1/2 small red onion
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • chopped fresh basil optional

Instructions

  • Preheat the grill to about 400°F.
  • While your grill is heating, lightly brush both sides of the pizza crust with olive oil.
  • Evenly spread the barbeque sauce on top of the crust and then top with the sliced mozzarella cheese, hash brown potatoes, brat pieces and red onion.
  • Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top of the other ingredients.
  • Place the pizza directly onto the hot grill. Bake for 10 to 15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the edges of the pizza crust have become slightly crisp.
  • Remove the baked pizza from the grill and sprinkle with chopped fresh basil if desired.
  • Slice and serve.
