Ingredients

Crinkle Cut Fries

  • 1-1/2 pounds Frozen Crinkle Cut Fries
  • Nonstick Coconut Oil Spray As Needed

Sambal-Honey Glaze

  • 2 tablespoons Chili Garlic Sauce (Sambal-Olek)
  • 2 tablespoons Honey
  • 2 teaspoons Sesame Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Rice Vinegar

Garnish

  • 1 tablespoon Toasted Black Sesame Seeds
  • Fresh Lime As Needed
  • Fresh Cilantro As Needed

Instructions

  • In a bowl or on a baking sheet, spray the frozen fries with a light misting of nonstick spray and toss to coat evenly; coconut oil is recommended but any spray can be used.
  • Set the air fryer to 425°F (218 C).
  • Arrange the potatoes in an even layer in the air fryer. Note, you may have to do two batches depending on the size of your air fryer.
  • Cook the frozen potatoes in the air fryer for 18-20 minutes or until they are golden and crispy.
  • While they are cooking make the glaze by combining the sambal, honey, sesame oil, and rice vinegar.
  • As soon as the potatoes are crispy, remove them from the air fryer and transfer them to a large bowl. Add the glaze and toss immediately to combine, being careful not to break up the potatoes.
  • Pile the fries on a serving platter and garnish them with the sesame seeds, fresh lime wedges, and cilantro. Enjoy while hot.
