Wisconsin Casserole
- 2 cups potatoes sliced
- 1/2 green pepper chopped
- 1 small onion chopped
- 2 cups kielbasa or smoked sausage cut into 1/2-inch slices
- 1 Tbsp brown mustard
- 1 Tbsp maple syrup
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/2-3/4 cup cheddar cheese shredded
- 1/2 cup cracker crumbs or crumbled potato chips
In a frying pan, saute potatoes, green pepper, onion and sausage for about 15 to 20 minutes.
In a 3-quart greased casserole dish, mix together the sauteed ingredients, mustard, maple syrup, sour cream, milk pepper and cheese.
Sprinkle top with the potato crumbs.
Bake at 350°F for about 45 minutes.
